Dew Drops Hat

One more Hat!! I couldn't wait to give this to my friend। I had made it for her B'day. When she came to know that I knit and crochet for fun, she had wanted me to make something for her and so I decided to make her a hat for her B'day.

I was so happy to have found someone who appreciated a handmade item so much!!! I came up with the pattern- decided that if I am making another hat I want to come up with a self designed pattern. She loved the hat:).

Thanksgiving Special Spicy Indian Mashed Potatoes (aka the famous Pav Bhaji)!!!

I was wondering what I should make for Thanksgiving. Then I had an idea: why not make mashed potatoes (which are high on my fav list) Indian stye. Known as Pav Bhaji, this is a popular snack in India, but I can have it for lunch, brunch, dinner... I am just crazy about this dish.

I also made some apple pie.

Ummm....... nothing's better than a slice of homemade apple pie... well unless it is a second slice of apple pie!! :D

Cabled- Scarf and Hat

I really enjoyed making this scarf and hat. I wanted a matching scarf and hat with cables, the recipient mentioned a preference for red and blue colors and I came up with this pattern. I didn't make any notes for the cap. I am hoping I will find the pattern notes that I made for the scarf as I was knitting it!!

Hot from the Oven

This is my very first Apple pie or any pie!!!
My previous attempts at baking were disasters. Jen at pieknits had this apple pie recipe which looked easy and of course the pie was soooo tempting.




I just love the baked apple oozing out of the pie. It tastes soo y'ummmmmm :).

Lime'n'Lemony Hat

The colors remind me of spring and lemons and limes. The Lime 'n' Lemony colors would look cute on anyone.
